These Caskets are designed for direct cremations and are not suitable for viewing alone. This casket is included in all of our funeral options (with a use of an outer casket). It is not possible to put handles on this coffin.

Simple Coffin
These Caskets are designed for Cremation or Burial and are suitable for viewing alone. Traditional Coffin Shape with a Flat Lid. Plain MDF Finish with that has been stained to a Maple finish. Other finishes available, on request. 4 Silver Chrome Fixed Handles. Lined with calico and a white satin side-set, an absorbent tissue liner, mattress and 1 standard pillow. This coffin is NZ made with 100% made in NZ MDF and the finish is a Maple Stain

The Grosvener Rimu (Pictured) is a traditional shaped casket, fully lined in an unvarnished finish. Other wood-grains include Hickory, Mahogany or Velvet Cherry.
